I have been making lots of protein truffles lately, since they are so quick and easy to prepare. And when the Vitamin Shoppe sent over some of their all-natural Café Cream whey protein, I knew I’d have to turn it into a tiramisu flavored truffle. So here you have Tiramisu Swirl Protein Truffles!

The ‘swirl’ here is made from combining two recipes, one using the Café Cream whey and the other using True Athlete all-natural vanilla whey protein. Both whey protein powders are combined with mascarpone cheese and coconut flour. Easy!

The Café Cream whey has real roasted coffee beans in it! And the super-creamy vanilla flavor of the True Athlete whey pairs very well with it. Delicious!

Notes
A note about substitutions: because each type of protein powder has a distinct texture, I would not try substituting different types of protein powders in this recipe. (See my Recipe Basics video for examples of what goes wrong when you use the wrong protein powder.)
