Protein Pralines
Prep time
Total time
Makes 8 pralines (4 servings).
Serves: 4
  1. Mix whey protein, carob powder, and salt.
  2. Add butterscotch flavor and 3 tablespoons of filtered water. If the mix is still dry, add more water by the teaspoon. Mix well.
  3. Fold in pecans.
  4. Drop by the spoonful onto a parchment-lined pan.
  5. Freeze for about 1 hour, or until the pralines peel cleanly from the parchment.
  6. Enjoy! And store extras in the freezer.
A note about substitutions: You might try using casein instead of whey protein, but I wouldn't try using vegan proteins in this recipe. You also might try using cacao or cocoa in place of the carob powder. The taste will be more chocolatey and less like caramel, but I'm sure it would still taste great!
