These no-bake chocolate protein balls taste like fudge brownies (!!) and make a delicious protein snack. Easy healthy protein powder recipe.

Ingredients

Instructions

  • Mix together the almond butter, water, and vanilla.
⅓ cup almond butter, 3 tablespoons water, ½ teaspoon alcohol-free vanilla extract
  • Add protein powder, cocoa, sweetener, and salt.
¼ cup chocolate plant-based protein powder, 1 tablespoon cocoa powder, ½ tablespoon sweetener, a pinch salt
  • Portion into 8 pieces, and roll each into a ball. And enjoy!

Notes

This recipe only works with plant-based protein powder (pea protein or pea protein blend). Using whey or collagen would be a sticky mess.
Other nut butters would work in place of the almond butter (although it may not taste like fudge brownies with other nut butters!).
I used a monk fruit erythritol blend as the sweetener. If you choose a liquid sweetener like maple syrup or agave, start with only 2 tablespoons water and add the liquid sweetener with the vanilla and water.
