High Protein Pizza Recipes
I'm an Italian-American girl from Brooklyn, so trust me that I know good pizza. When making a high protein pizza crust, I'm going with either a thick, more bread-like crust (a high protein version of Sicilian pizza), or a low carb thin crust that is somewhat soft. What brings the pizza magic here is using high quality cheese and sauce. I repeat, use high quality cheese and sauce!
My favorites are any of the Rao's sauces, Polly-O cheeses, and Locatelli Pecorino Romano as a grated cheese (optional, but delicious!). (<-- affiliate links)
If you're craving pizza but want it more macro-friendly, these recipes are for you. What you *won't* find is crust made of chicken or more cheese, or anything weird like that. Keep the crust simple, and focus on - yes - high quality cheese and sauce! :)
