This frozen yogurt recipe is super easy to make with an ice cream maker, and the flavor options are endless. High protein, too!

I've flavored this one with honey and cinnamon, but you can flavor it however you choose, of course. Use your favorite sweetener, too!

    🧁 Ingredients

    • nonfat Greek yogurt
    • honey
    • vanilla whey protein
    • ground cinnamon

    👩🏼‍🍳 Instructions

    Mix yogurt and honey.

Add vanilla whey, and mix well.

    Add cinnamon.

Follow instructions on ice cream maker (or enjoy as is!).

    🥣 Substitutions

Feel free to use all butter or all shortening (or vegan butter replacement).

    🍓 Variations

Of course, you can flavor this frozen yogurt however you like! Use other sweeteners instead of honey, add fresh strawberries or other fruit. Use other flavored whey protein powders, like this strawberry whey or this chocolate whey. Add sugar free chocolate chips, chopped nuts, etc. Go crazy!

    🥄 Equipment

You'll need a bowl to mix the ingredients. If you're lookin for a nice set of mixing bowls, I love this set of mixing bowls from Target. They are easy to clean, have rubber on the bottom to keep the bowls from slipping, and the set is reasonably priced.

I have this Cuisinart ice cream maker, and I use it daily (frozen protein shakes!).

And I always suggest measuring your ingredients with a kitchen scale instead of using volume measurements for best results.

    ⚡️ Top Tip

Make sure the ice cream maker bowl is frozen well for best results. The colder the bowl is, the faster the frozen yogurt will freeze up.

      Hi Diane,
I've never used sugar-free honey, but it should work! Or other sugar substitutes.
      Enjoy!

These recipes have more carbs than I eat. Can they be made with Sugar free honey or sugar substitutes? I'd love the cinnamon ice creM,
